Giambi now with a .949 OPS, on pace for 39 HRs. I predicted 27 HRs from the Big G at the beginning of the season and I think thats where he will end up one way
or another.

Jason had a great ST, so I was a little surprised of his poor performance. Now he seems to be back on track.

No, Jason Giambi is not back on roids. He worked hard and has always been a special talent. He has the best eye in baseball and if his body is responding to
his instincts he is a force. The only thing that will derail him is injury.

Truth is you dont know how long he was ever taking steroids... so you cant classify him as a special talent... While I agree his eye is second to none... His hitting ability could have always been enhanced... Now, do I think he's really on steriods again... probably not... is it a stretch to think absolutely not. He could easily be taking the next undetectable thing... it's not like he hasnt done so before. And I truly dont think you go from horrendous... and not hitting the ball the other way for 3 years... to magically fixing everything. This is not a stretch of the imagination here... That being said, I dont care either way as long as he produces. |

klza313 wrote: I disagree. If you take a look at 2005 and 2006 he is producing pretty much the same numbers. Even more, he is still under those numbers (OPS, AVG), so he
maybe is on roids, but I don't think so. He is just doing what he does.

CanoHoops wrote: Its the combination of the mustache and the golden thong. Hell, he might as well just say screw it and just put on a lace bra as well. That'll raise
his OPS into the 1.000s
