Can Joba go 2? He only threw 12 pitches that inning. If the Yankees don't score...

Melky is so fun to watch. Glad he made the Jays pay after that horrible call for strike 2.
Michael Kay described the strikezone as "liquid" -- Thats a great way to describe it.

Not a fun night for A Rod. Granted a great sequence on that one.
Yanks with the lead though!

Yea def bad night for Arod he is over swinging... and Robbie apparently wasted all his hits in Florida during the spring and Matsui needs to contribute...

The ability to afford a ticket to a baseball game in no way correlates to baseball knowledge. Most fans are idiots.

really didnt hear too many boos on that one.. come to think of it, the few boos could of just been towards the home plate ump. it seemed he called that inside
pitch to righties so inconsistently. any yank fan who would boo Arod these days are just pathetic.
anyway on to the positives, awesome debut for Phil. His curve was working tonight for strikes and swing and misses. |

I was at the game and heard a very small number of boos. I don't know whether they were booing A-Rod or the ump but probrably the former though.
