My wife's birthday is on sep 18, so I decided to travel to NYC for celebrating and seeing the yanks (not sure of the order of the priorities lol). Got Row C on 617 (that's between home plate and first base). How's that location Ross?

So that is what blogs and message boards are for. To bring this to the attention of the common consumer and help stop the big, greedy businesses from these shady practices. I am thankful to the OP here, because now I was able to make a blog post about it and hopefully it will help these people band together and get what is due to them. I agree with you that this stuff is ALL too common, but that doesn't mean I am going to ACCEPT it!

Its not a matter of being acceptable or not, it is common practice. Just how products that claim rebates, send them to you on flimsy post cards, that most people throw out without thinking twice. It's how business is done. Its in the same mold of paying people off to get quick construction done. It's the way the world works. If you don't understand that, you're going to have a difficult time.

The key is just to be aware and spot these things, and the minute you speak...

Come on... this is how big companies work. They make sure youre keeping track of things. They do that to a bunch of people and they end up making more money, from the people who dont complain.

you should never be inconvenienced to the point of having to fight charges with AMEX. People already took time out of their work day to purchase the tickets to begin with. Now they have to spend more time fighting with the Yankees and calling AMEX? Total crap!
