My daughter and I were lucky enough to get the first official foul ball in New Yankee stadium. The fateful event occurred on Friday April 3, vs. Chicago Cubs. The ball was hit by Fontenot as a slow ground ball to us in Section 14. The umpire (#95 Timmons) was nice enough to come over to us and tell us that it was the first foul ball in the new stadium Very cool!

Just a note... Ross and I sit around at games discussing bizarre things like this.

Sometimes we'll comment on a section that is getting pelted, other times, specific seats hve multiple balls come them a game. I don't know HOW exactly we'd do this, but it might hav to start out with minimal data, and then try to expand it.

Since we had tickets in the upper deck, right behind home plate, we had a good view of where balls were going, as far as the foul pops to the...
